Riello UPS Unveils
Unique ECO Energy Rating System
Riello UPS has developed a unique ECO Energy Levels rating system,
designed to help IT managers select the most efficient UPS for their
installations. The first of its kind in the power protection
industry, details of the new system are being launched in the
company’s 2009, 80-page product brochure.

UK Grid has awarded Chloride an ongoing contract to provide critical
power protection at its newly opened co-location data centre in
Manchester. The facility at No.1 Synergy House is a Tier II business
class data centre with a current capacity for 300 racks. It
alleviates the shortage of such facilities in the North of England.

UPS Systems installs its
first methanol fuel cell with npower renewables
UPS Systems is supplying two methanol fuel cells to npower
renewables for prime power in a portable wind monitoring
application. The fuel cell installation is due for completion in
January 2009, in order for npower renewables to undertake its first
deployment of the new system, capable of measuring wind speeds and
direction at the full range of possible wind turbine heights.
